Come and see for yourself the concrete results of territorial cooperation in Maritime Safety!

With 20 ongoing projects facilitated, the MSUO is the only EU cross-territorial operation, which links maritime safety works in four cooperation programme areas (North Sea, Baltic Sea, North West Europe and Northern Periphery). 

The project fair will give you a chance to see and hear more about the positive impacts and effects of projects facilitated by the MSUO. These include projects to improve contingency planning, implementation of Automatic Identification Systems (AIS), passenger vessel safety, training, places of refuge, responding to emergencies, VTS monitoring, crisis management, maritime governance, ICZM, public awareness, etc.

We are expecting between 200 / 250 people who are involved in transnational, and interregional cooperation: meet key contacts from all types of organisations working on maritime safety and territorial issues from across Europe who will be building the maritime safety project ideas of tomorrow for funding under the Interreg IV Programme.

The European Maritime stakeholders will be invited to have a closer look at how transnational and interregional cooperation operates in the North of Europe, project partners and decision-makers will be in the international limelight. Voice your views on the issues on which territorial cooperation should focus tomorrow, in order to increase Maritime Safety. The event will be attended by European and Member State Representatives from all over Europe and senior EU representatives involved in Maritime Safety

The MSUO conference will inform project promoters about the objectives of the new Interreg IV programme as well as provide them with information in order to spread the message about the new programme to their potential partners all over Europe.
