Interreg – MSUO Maritime Safety Projects Fair
5 and 6 June 2007
Radisson SAS Park Lane Hotel, Antwerp

In order to prepare for the new Interreg IV programme period the Maritime Safety Umbrella Operation held its first Maritime Safety Projects Fair the 5 and 6 June 2007 in Antwerp.
The reason for this event was two-folded. Firstly the MSUO has the goal to inform attendees about the projects that have been coordinated and/or facilitated by the Operation during the Interreg IIIB period. Secondly workshops were held to identify common maritime safety issues in the European Programme Areas.
To achieve this goal, the first day of the conference was used to inform attendees about the view of different organisations as well as the achievement by a number of projects and the MSUO. The second day was used to have attendees’ debate in workshop about common issues and how to work together on these issues.
